Speech on Wellhope 30th Anniversary Ceremony by Dr. Cai Huiyi, President of China Animal Agriculture Association May 29, 2025

尊敬的各位領導、各位同仁，朋友們：

Distinguished leaders, colleagues, and friends: Good morning! 

非常榮幸(xing)應邀出席禾(he)(he)豐(feng)股份(fen)30周年(nian)慶典。我謹(jin)代表(biao)中國(guo)畜(chu)牧業協會向禾(he)(he)豐(feng)股份(fen)30年(nian)來(lai)在科技創(chuang)新、人才培養創(chuang)新、商(shang)業模(mo)式創(chuang)新和(he)經營管(guan)理方面的(de)創(chuang)新所取得的(de)成就表(biao)示最熱烈的(de)祝賀(he)！同(tong)時對金(jin)衛東董事(shi)長率領(ling)創(chuang)業團隊(dui)和(he)全體禾(he)(he)豐(feng)人為(wei)中國(guo)畜(chu)牧業乃至世(shi)界畜(chu)牧行業所做(zuo)出的(de)重要貢獻致以崇高(gao)的(de)敬(jing)意！

It is an honor to join you at the 30th Anniversary Ceremony of Wellhope.

On behalf of the China Animal Agriculture Association, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations on Wellhope’s remarkable achievements in technological innovation, talent development, business model advancement, and management excellence over the past three decades. I also wish to pay the highest tribute to Chairman Jin Weidong, the founding team, and all members of Wellhope for their outstanding contributions to both China’s and the global livestock industries.

當前，國(guo)際(ji)經濟發展(zhan)形勢(shi)復雜多變，全(quan)球產(chan)(chan)業(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)鏈(lian)供(gong)應鏈(lian)加速重(zhong)構，農業(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)與食品產(chan)(chan)業(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)的安全(quan)、穩定、可持續發展(zhan)成為各國(guo)戰略重(zhong)點。中央一號文件(jian)連續多年(nian)明確提出要強化(hua)(hua)(hua)畜牧(mu)(mu)業(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)全(quan)產(chan)(chan)業(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)鏈(lian)建設，培育具(ju)有國(guo)際(ji)競爭力的農業(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)龍頭企業(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)，因此中國(guo)畜牧(mu)(mu)業(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)規模化(hua)(hua)(hua)養(yang)(yang)殖(zhi)浪潮奔涌不息，智慧(hui)牧(mu)(mu)場的科(ke)技(ji)之(zhi)光和標準化(hua)(hua)(hua)養(yang)(yang)殖(zhi)基地星羅棋布，區域(yu)協同(tong)發展(zhan)格局日(ri)趨(qu)完善(shan)。物聯網、大數據、人工智能等(deng)前沿科(ke)技(ji)深度融合養(yang)(yang)殖(zhi)業(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)全(quan)產(chan)(chan)業(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)鏈(lian)，讓傳統(tong)畜牧(mu)(mu)業(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)煥發出全(quan)新活(huo)力；中國(guo)畜牧(mu)(mu)業(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)總產(chan)(chan)值節節攀升，肉、蛋、奶(nai)產(chan)(chan)量穩居(ju)世界之(zhi)巔(dian)，構筑起國(guo)家糧食安全(quan)的鋼鐵長城，也為全(quan)球農產(chan)(chan)品供(gong)應注入了中國(guo)力量。

The global economy is undergoing profound changes, with industrial and supply chains evolving at an unprecedented pace. Ensuring the security, stability, and sustainable development of agriculture and food industries has become a strategic priority for countries worldwide. China’s No. 1 Central Document has repeatedly emphasized the importance of strengthening the entire livestock supply chain and fostering globally competitive leaders in the agricultural sector.

As a result, China’s livestock industry is experiencing rapid transformation, with large-scale operations expanding, smart farms emerging, and standardized breeding bases taking shape. Cutting-edge technologies—such as the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, and artificial intelligence (AI)—are being seamlessly integrated across the livestock production chain, injecting new vitality into a traditionally structured sector. Today, China’s meat, egg, and milk production continues to lead the world, laying a solid foundation for national food security and contributing to the global agricultural supply chain.

在這波(bo)瀾壯闊(kuo)的(de)(de)產(chan)(chan)業(ye)畫卷中，有時代(dai)機遇也(ye)有行業(ye)使(shi)命，禾豐人(ren)無疑是抓住了機遇，創新引領(ling)，奮斗(dou)拼搏，穩健前行，貢獻了最濃墨(mo)重彩的(de)(de)一(yi)筆。三十年間，你們(men)(men)始終以“促進中國畜(chu)牧業(ye)發(fa)展，造福人(ren)類社會”為(wei)(wei)使(shi)命，在商品飼料與畜(chu)牧養殖領(ling)域(yu)雙輪驅(qu)動，縱橫馳騁；在白羽肉雞產(chan)(chan)業(ye)躋身(shen)世界(jie)第一(yi)梯隊，為(wei)(wei)亞太市(shi)場源源不斷(duan)輸送優質、安全的(de)(de)畜(chu)禽(qin)產(chan)(chan)品；在生豬產(chan)(chan)業(ye)亦取得(de)長足發(fa)展，你們(men)(men)因此(ci)也(ye)成為(wei)(wei)了中國畜(chu)牧業(ye)協會副會長單位(wei)，我為(wei)(wei)你們(men)(men)取得(de)的(de)(de)成就深感自豪(hao)。更值得(de)稱贊的(de)(de)是，禾豐以“公(gong)司+基(ji)地+農(nong)戶”的(de)(de)模式，與千萬(wan)農(nong)戶共享發(fa)展紅利，為(wei)(wei)鄉村振(zhen)興(xing)戰略提供了生動實(shi)踐。

This grand transformation brings with it not only new opportunities, but also new responsibilities. Wellhope has seized these opportunities with foresight and determination—advancing through innovation and delivering remarkable value. Over the past 30 years, Wellhope has remained true to its founding mission: to drive the development of China’s livestock industry for the benefit of society. It has thrived in both the commercial feed and livestock farming sectors, becoming a leading player in the white-feathered broiler industry and consistently supplying the Asia-Pacific market with high-quality, safe products. Its swine farming division has also demonstrated impressive growth.

Wellhope’s achievements have earned it the position of Vice-President Unit within the China Animal Agriculture Association, and I take great pride in these accomplishments. Even more commendably, its model of integrating enterprises, farming bases, and smallholders has empowered millions of farmers to share in the gains of industrial development, offering a vivid and practical example of rural revitalization.

Under the leadership of Chairman Jin Weidong, Wellhope has grown from a small startup into an international enterprise group, now encompassing nearly 300 holding and associated companies. Rooted in patriotism and driven by professional excellence, Wellhope has made significant strides in technological innovation and market expansion. The Wellhope brand has come to symbolize the quality and warmth of Chinese agriculture and livestock companies—earning widespread recognition from industry peers around the world.

Wellhope’s 30-year journey is a testament not only to China’s rise in the global livestock industry, but also to the resilience, determination, and pioneering spirit of Chinese private enterprises.

Looking ahead, the agriculture and livestock industries worldwide are entering a new era of green, sustainable development. I hope Wellhope will take this 30th anniversary as a new starting point—embracing openness, boldness, and innovation as it works toward the ambitious goal of becoming a world-class enterprise in agriculture and animal husbandry. May Wellhope continue to shine among the brightest stars in the galaxy of innovation, advancing the global recognition of China’s livestock industry.

Taking Wellhope as a role model, the China Animal Agriculture Association will always stand alongside Wellhope, forging ahead together. We will strengthen the integration of industry forces to drive the high-quality development of China's livestock sector, and together we'll craft a vibrant vision where China's livestock industry becomes the cornerstone of quality living for all citizens.
